Not quite- Henderson IS their top player and that's not debatable and he is VERY underrated!

 

Trinity played 14 kids even when it was a 10-12 point game for most of the second half.

 

When the staters were reinserted with about 5 to go they immediately stretched it before they were taken out again with 3 to go so I think this was more the chance to get kids playing time than a defensive letdown.

 

Referees tried to keep it as close as possible in both halves as Trinity had the first 5 fouls each half called against them!

My apologies. In the three games I saw CAL played, Lopez shined much brighter than Henderson did. CAL is much better than their record and is just a tad off the stride of being a regional and state contender. Their rich tradition shouldn't be understated.

Henderson and Lopez are both great players. Nothing should be taken away from either of them. I have been told that both kids will play college. Best to both. I've seen about 4 games this year, and CAL has their best team in years. Just another example of how tough the 7th region is this year.

Szabo played everyone! No alarm! Great game to get playing time for younger players. Starters played limited minutes... CAL has a couple of nice players... GO ROCKS!
