I'm not so sure this election cycle is not going to be a rejection of incumbents. Our system of government is not working for what people want right now. IMO that is job growth/creation, not Health care reform, cap and trade, etc. I think Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et al have grossly and very ineffectively over played thier hands with the health care reform. The vast majority of talking out of D.C. for the past year has been about health care reform, mean while back at the ranch people continue to lose or not be able to find jobs. If I remember correctly Obama really surged in the polls once the economy really tanked and voters were more confident he could handle the crisis, not because of Health care reform. Thus the backlash and I have a feeling it may not only be Dems on the chopping block IMO.

There must be a different feed of MSNBC thsn the one I get if you didn't see their cheerleading for the left. I will grant you this, while the hosts (Maddow and Olberman in particular) really seemed to be clinging to anything that would give them cause to HOPE Obamacare could still be passed their guests shot them down.

That's a fair point, one I don't necessary agree with, but one I think you could make an arguement for. Either way though, with the majority of D.C. incumbents being Dems, that still spells bad news for them, and good news for the Reps.
