My favorite Maddow comment of the night was when dear Rachel said that "actually the misperception is that Mass. is heavily Democratic, when its actually similar to the national average, where its about the same number of D vs. R". Actually about 3-1 Dems--She's a joke, no wonder she has about the same viewership as the Podunk Times and Obermann!!

 

I actually watched Olbermann last night just for kicks. He provides the best sort of comedy; comedy that wasn't meant to be comedy

Okay. The opposition to Obama's policies is creating the political climate. I can agree with that. Then it seems to me that in order to decrease the level and amount of opposition creating the political climate in MA that caused Brown to win, Obama needs to change his policies and agenda because they are creating the opposition that is setting the political climate.

 

As to you not remembering who is the AG of Ky, it seems to me you are confusing the ability to remember a name with name recognition. They are different animals. Name recognition, according to every campaign consultant I've ever dealt with or spoken to, means a whole lot in a campaign.

On election night many said that due to the overwhelming numbers that Obama would be President for 8 years. This, once again, shows how poltics work. You could argue that "how it works" is good or bad. I'd argue its both.
