January 16, 201016 yr Ashley Judd in the house! Hopefully Kentucky will continue this. If they are and San Diego is able to cover, this could be a good weekend .
January 16, 201016 yr According to ESPN's team stats of Kentucky on their website, we are shooting 68.9% as a team from the Free Throw line on the season. People wonder why we don't put the beat down on some of these teams when we should - look at our missed F/Ts. We make what we did last season (percentage wise), we have some blowouts. I completely agree. Last years team shot 77.3% collectiveling from the Free Throw line. 77% vs. 69.8% sounds pretty signifigant but since UK attempts 24 free throws a game we're only talking about a difference in 1.7 points per game if we shot what we did last season. They need to keep it somewhere around 70% as a team--anything above that is a bonus.
January 16, 201016 yr Kentucky needs to extend the lead in the 2nd half so I can feel a bit more comfortable .
January 16, 201016 yr 77% vs. 69.8% sounds pretty signifigant but since UK attempts 25 free throws a game we're only talking about a difference in 1.7 points per game if we shot what we did last season. They need to keep it somewhere around 70% as a team--anything above that is a bonus. This is one good thing that Billy G did do when he was here. He did have his teams shoot free throws pretty well.
January 16, 201016 yr This is one good thing that Billy G did do when he was here. He did have his teams shoot free throws pretty well. And yet, according to him he didn't have them practice free throws.......which might explain why they shot them so well on his watch.
January 16, 201016 yr Author Why is Auburn flexing and chest bumping? They just made themselves look really stupid.
January 16, 201016 yr 19-6 run for Auburn right now. Just pathetic that at one point UK was up 39-20 and now only up 6.
