January 15, 201016 yr Leno is done, he needs to go away. Conan Obrien just getting worked and there is nothing he can do about it.
January 15, 201016 yr Conan may be suing NBC: http://extratv.warnerbros.com/2010/01/source_conan_obrien_sue_nbc.php Some snippets: An insider tells "Extra" today that Conan may sue NBC over his timeslot war with Jay Leno. and Today, a new report states that if Conan refuses the proposed move to 12:05, NBC is threatening to keep him off the air for the duration of his contract -- three-and-a-half years!
January 15, 201016 yr I will never watch NBC again if they keep Conan off of the air for 3 1/2 years. This is their fault anyways.

January 15, 201016 yr Conan has been absolutly hilarious much like Dave was when he got the shaft. Leno is the worst of the three by far IMO! Conan has been so funny and good for him for sticking to his guns. Last night he strolled down memory lane...back to a Sept episode. He said something to the effect that you can have this and that...UNLESS Jay Leno decides he wants it. He was totally ripping on the whole situation the entire show. His guests were too. Very funny!

January 15, 201016 yr I fail to see how NBC can keep Conan off the air when they are in breach of contract. I know that the contract did not have provisions about when the show would air, but the language most definitely said he would have the Tonight Show.

Is it online somewhere where we can view it?
January 15, 201016 yr I won't boycott NBC but I will not watch Jay Leno at 11:30pm. My dilemma will be if Conan goes on at 11:30 on another network against Dave. That has been my issue for the past 7 months.
January 15, 201016 yr Have you seen the contract? Is it online somewhere where we can view it? No, that's in the reports about the contract. They've talked about how they negotiated for the Tonight Show, but never bothered with the timeslot because of a belief that it was implied that the Tonight Show would air at 11:35. The only recourse they could possibly have is that NBC moving the show would constitute negotiating in bad faith, as they would be moving a show from a timeslot it sat in for 40 years. I don't think we're really anywhere near this point, but I feel this is the closest I've ever been to seeing the death of the Tonight Show. One reason I never believe we'll see Conan off for 3.5 years is because then the Tonight Show would be off that long, and they may as well cancel the name if they do that.
