Joshua Cribbs is unreal.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with that, but I disagree big time when you said that the Bengals have no glaring needs.

Ok they have needs but I don't know who they can take 1st round that will fill them. You think they go O-line again? No safeties worthy of 1st round pick. Gresham is a good TE but he will probably be gone. Golden Tate is a good pick at WR if he is there, but I don't know if he will be.

Golden Tate is also a dangerous return guy and I would love to take him or Gilyard if they are there in the first round.

I would hate for the Bengals to take either Golden Tate or Mardy Gilyard in the first round.

Take a game changing safety and see who the best WR is in the 2nd / 3rd round.

I have a bad feeling about Tate. I don't know why.

I don't see how you could go wrong with Gilyard. The dude lived in a car, that's tough. BTW, he can also stretch the field and can make plays in the return game. They could do much worse (Simspon).

I'll start, he's 5'10".

How tall is Steve Smith?

True. But finding a receiver as good as Steve Smith at that height comes one in many more than a million.

I'll start, he's 5'10".

Did you watch any Irish games this season? He is 5'11''. I believe he made a catch against Wash St with three guys jumping for the ball along with him. Height hasn't been an issue with him at all and his hands are so strong it makes up.

It's not like Golden would be a deep ball guy they throw it up to all the time, even though he can make those plays.

Did anyone see Golden Tate's catch over 6'4" Taylor Maze? Size sure didn't seem to bother him there or in the play Ets was refering to.

Browns will ruin Cribbs most likely, just like the Bears with Hester. Just let those guys do their thing on returns and get out of the way, IMO.

I'm talking first round pick needs. You think we should take TE first round? And there won't be any good 1st round safeties by the time we draft because Berry and Mays will be gone. Plus Cribbs could be a WR.

I think McShay and Kiper have Mays falling quite a bit right now. He was always talked about as a top 5-10 guy, but it's possible he could fall.

I want the Bengals to take Tate because I want Chad to have some help. If he's there (my boy) Aaron Hernadez would be great for them to pick up IMO. He's smallish (6-3?), but to me he seems like an adequate blocker and is tough to cover. If I were a GM I'd rather have Gresham, but Hernadez will be a good TE IMO.

Tate is a guy that people either love or find flaws in his game. Tate's worst knock is that he's small. But he still makes plays, shows great athleticism and has had 3 years of coaching from a very established former NFL offensive coordinator. I think that Tate is a Steve Smith clone, but that's JMO. If he had another quality NFL WR to play with I think he would be pretty productive.

Cribbs keeps proving he is the real deal. We have seen a lot of superstar return guys this decade. From Donte Hall to Devin Hester, this decade has really jacked the importance of special teams returning to the max. As hot as the fore mentioned guys were in their prime of taking back kicks to the house, they finally got contained. I always looked for them to run away with the record and make a huge milestone, but they never did. The fact that Cribbs has, and that he has been doing this in the return game for a few years now proves how much of a superstar he is in the return game.

Are there small Wrs in the NFL, yes. Are there small Wrs in the NFL who produce, yes. I'm not saying he won't be good, but I think most NFL teams want to place their hopes in big strong Wrs. Smith was primarily a return guy, Welker was undrafted, sometimes those short guys have to work a bit harder to make it on the big stage.
