December 20, 200916 yr It seems like most of the top returners in NFL history are smallish(Metcalf,Hester,Hall), and Cribbs doesn't fit that mold whatsoever. 220lbs of man running downhill.
December 20, 200916 yr Nice observation, NEERFAN. I've always thought it was strange to see Cribbs returning kicks, especially since he's a former QB. Love this guy's game. He set the NFL record with the 1st one and then expanded upon his own record with the 2nd return for a TD.
December 20, 200916 yr Crazy part is Cribbs was a QB at Kent St, and wasnt much of one other then running.
December 21, 200916 yr Dang you bluemagic, you said don't start Cribbs and I listened to you! I was speaking on an offensive perspective. I wasn't thinking special teams and 2 kick off returns for a TD. My bad..
December 21, 200916 yr My roommate says the Bengals should trade their first round pick for Cribbs since they have no glaring needs and a kick/punt returner would be very useful. I told him no, plus I doubt Cleveland would even do that.

December 21, 200916 yr You are watching a different team than I am. What do you think we need? O-line, WR?
December 21, 200916 yr Author What do you think we need? O-line, WR? Yes, yes. TE, S... should we keep going?
December 21, 200916 yr Yes, yes. TE, S... should we keep going? I'm talking first round pick needs. You think we should take TE first round? And there won't be any good 1st round safeties by the time we draft because Berry and Mays will be gone. Plus Cribbs could be a WR.

If you have needs (all teams do), then I think the first round is a good place to start.
December 21, 200916 yr If you have needs (all teams do), then I think the first round is a good place to start. Cribbs fills needs.
December 21, 200916 yr Author Cribbs fills needs. I'm not necessarily disagreeing with that, but I disagree big time when you said that the Bengals have no glaring needs.
