December 16, 200916 yr It will be involuntary manslaughter if he has in fact passed. It is still a homicide whether she shot him or wrecked the truck with him in the back. The story linked isn't clear....she may not have done anything untoward. It says she was driving away and he jumped in the back of the truck. Unless she started driving erraticly in order to dislodge him from the truck, I'm not sure what she could be ciminally guilty of. Plus, if she were afraid of him, that could put a whole 'nother spin on the situation. Regardless, this is a tragic situation.

However they had to show up though, because it is a possibility they needed to look at sooner rather than later. This is a very sad situation, I know it doesn't look good and apparently twitter is saying that he has passed. However until other people start confirming it, then I am going to hold out hope and pray that he makes it through it.

If she wrecked because he was causing a distraction by being in the bed of the truck then I don't see how she could be charged with anything. If she had the opportunity to stop knowing he was in danger when he was in the truck she can be charged. Everyone has a responsibility to keep others safe. I could be wrong though I'm just saying what my Criminal Justice professor told me.:lol:

December 17, 200916 yr ESPN just said it was life threatening injuries. I sure hope he hangs on. He has made mistakes, but there will be 3 more fatherless children in this world if he doesn't.
