December 29, 200916 yr 2nd place in my league for the 3rd year in a row. I'm getting a little frustrated.
December 29, 200916 yr Author Maybe I should have asked for advise, the wife beat me in the finals by 7. She had AP and it looked like I would get the victory since the Bears shut him down in the first half. Thanks to a defensive PI and Rice falling shy of the goal I lost. I've been sitting Cutler for the past few weeks in favor of Garrard, and this week I started VY, and Cutler goes off. Two straight final appearances without a win.

January 2, 201016 yr Ok after Peterson fumbled on Monday night, the scoreboard had me losing 121.38-121.18 in the championship. I grumbled and was mad but got over it. Today I get a text telling me to look at the league. Apparently a sack was not awarded to Dallas during the game and it was changed, thus giving me an additional point and making me the winner 122.18-121.38. What made it even better was that the guy I beat is a big Auburn fan and it was an Auburn QB that was sacked to give me the win....it also doesn't hurt that I get an extra $100 dollars being the champ. My championship team was.... I kept visiting my league sight wishing for the following. Chicago's defensive PI was not PI so AP was not allowed his first TD. Sydney Rice was not tackled on the pass from Brett Favre on the one yard line, he was awarded a TD and AP's TD was erased. Still hasn't happened but I'll keep watching.

January 4, 201016 yr My fantasy team today did worse than any week in the four years I've been in my league. I was 17 points out of second place, 3 points ahead of fourth. I was lucky to even keep fourth after today. But, then again, even my best lineup wouldn't have let me keep third, so I may as well miss big.
January 10, 201016 yr We are discussing our format for next year. Our draft order is determined by this years finish. I bekieve that if we do this, then we should be able to keep some players. Anyone have a view on this?

Anyone have a view on this? I don't see why it should have to be a keeper league if you do that. Also, if it were to become a keeper league, everyone must know that going into the first draft as a keeper league. It never works to start a keeper league using rosters from a redraft league the year before. There are players that have higher values as keepers that may not necessarily have been drafted highly the year before. Some players are dropped if they hit the IR that otherwise might not have been if they were known to be keepers. I do hope that if your league does base how you draft next year based on this year's finish that they do it slightly differently from my league. We have 12 teams, and where you finish is where you draft. So you finish 1st, you draft 1st next year. I think that's counter to the way it should work. I think if you finish 1st, you should draft 12th. Why should the guy that finished 1st this year based solely on Chris Johnson be rewarded by getting to draft him again next year?

We will do it this way. I drafted last this season and finished 2nd. The premise of this is the NFL does it this way. Best team picks last. That s fine, but they keep most of their players. If we all start from scratch, why should I automatically pick last?
