December 18, 200916 yr Haven't started Sims-Walker through the past 3 weeks (luckily) and he's coming around again. I just don't know if I'm ballsy enough to start him next week if I'm fortunate enough to win this week.
December 18, 200916 yr Get a bonus when you go over 100 rushing yards. But why a lock? Is your opponent awful?
December 18, 200916 yr But why a lock? Is your opponent awful? Basically. I have Clark going off as well tonight which is also why I'm basically a lock.
December 18, 200916 yr Basically. I have Clark going off as well tonight which is also why I'm basically a lock. Ahhh ok. I wish I would have started Garrard. Even though I never would have in the first place but he's playing quite well tonight. Same with Sims-Walker. I have them both on my bench.
December 18, 200916 yr If I get 5 more receiving yards from Clark, what a score my team will put up. You would have had it. They just targeted him on 3rd and 4 and it was incomplete.
December 18, 200916 yr You would have had it. They just targeted him on 3rd and 4 and it was incomplete. Yeah, great job Peyton...:ohbrother:
December 18, 200916 yr WOW what a night. Not sure about everything. Won 100 on the Colts tonight straight up. The guy I'm playing in my big money playoffs started D. Clark and A. Collie toinght so I'm in the hole already. I benched Simms Walker becasue he was banged up. I'm really conflicted for the 1st time all year at fantasy. QB heavy league 10 teams that starts 2 QB's, 3 RB's 3 WR's, 1 TE, 2 DEf and 1 kicker. Here's where I'm struggling: QB: Brees + either Young (would start but hurt), Cutler (would be OK as #2 but plays Ravens) and Quinn. Redmond is still out there along with Fry, Culpepp, Moore and maybe another low guy or two. RB: Been killed here with injuries just lost K. Smith this week. Starting B. Wells, Gaither then either...Forsett (could be great if they would make him the feature back), C. Jennings (Fairview/Ashland product that has a ton of upside), Morris (starting for the Lions), J. Stewart (could be great if he was the starter). WR: Calvin J. (hurt and I'm started to think he won't play or be really hurt which stinks), M. Austin (starting him), G. Jennings (been a bust but he is starting Romo and Rodgers), Crabtree (good but gamble), Cribbs (might start RB so there is potential pts ther). TE: Celek (was going to start but having trouble walking along w fingers) had Witten but about to drop him for F. Davis Monday night is Celek can't go. Def: Minn, Tenn OK with them K: Hartley (Saints kicker didn't practice this week hurt) Feely is still available but would rather have Hartley if he's playing. Injuries are wearing me out. A chance for A LOT of money so I need to get it right.
December 18, 200916 yr The other side of the bracket in my playoffs one guy had Clark and Wayne tonight. Still has Chris Johnson and Ray Rice to play. He could hypothetically sit the rest of his team and still maybe get a victory.
December 18, 200916 yr What about Wayne? Spoke too soon, my friend. 130 and a TD. Pretty glad I was wrong about him! But Clark and MJD both had huge nights and are going to be tough to overcome. I'll need Schaub, Welker, and Jacobs to go off if I'm going to cash in on the big money. Sometimes I think we have too much money riding in the league I'm in and it causes us (me?) to take it too seriously.
December 19, 200916 yr Author Alright, the lineup is just about complete but still looking for a few opinions. I have two positions to fill and three players to choose from. (1pt/10yds, Tds 6pts with bonuses for length) QB: Garrard RB: MJD WR: VJax WR: Steven Smith ********************************************** RB: Wells RB: Grant WR: Steve Smith Which two would you select? I'm thinking Wells is primed for a nice stretch run after putting up nice numbers on MNF, the Cards now face the Lions. Building a lead should be easy, then Beanie can grind it out. Grant is coming off his best game of the season but he usually plays well against bad defenses and usually is held in check against better opponents. It's hard to sit him since he's one of the only feature backs in the NFL so he gets plenty of touches. Steve Smith is not having a great season mostly due to the Panthers' Qb issue. He had a big play last week that inflated his point total but now they are facing a very good defense and Winfield will most likely be checking him.
December 19, 200916 yr Grant is for sure, the other would have to be Wells b/c Smith is going against the Vikings D.
