I don't believe it would change but I was curious. I'm not positive on the rules but I mean a shovel pass behind the QB is a rush, what's the difference if it's overhand?

There is none. If it's a lateral, it's a rush.

 

The sports bureau changes all sorts of things. We get a report every week on the changes. While I can't recall one changing how a TD is scored, I've seen passes changed to rushes.

Looking at it again on my DVR, it was very close. Maybe too close to call it a backwards pass. It definitely wasn't forward. If anything it was a straight lateral, neither forward nor backward, which would obviously be considered a TD pass.

^ I'm fairly certain that it has to be a forward pass to be considered a TD pass. A perfect sideways lateral is still not a TD pass.

 

BTW, I looked for the first example I could find of a rush changed to a pass or vice versa. In Week 14, the Elias Sports Bureau changed Steven Jackson's stats against Tennessee from 19 rushes for 47 yards to 18 for 39, and from 2 receptions for 6 yards to 3 receptions for 14 yards.

For many fantasy playoffs in the world, this could mean a lot. :lol:

Tell me about it. I have a buddy, been in a league with him since '89 and most of us have had a computer since '99 but he just got his first computer about three weeks ago. We're in a 12 team league, two retainees each season and he's been traditionally one of the worst for most of the past 10 years in our current structure. So this year week five rolls around, and his team has talent but not enough talent (Schaub/Palmer, Maroney, RMoss, Colston, MegaTron, Shockey) were his usual starters. It's time for FA pickups and I felt bad since in week two I offered Freddy T for Beanie and he took it. Well this is a guy who's never made a trade in 20 years of fantasy and as soon as I make the trade Freddy T get injured. I'm feeling pretty bad so I tell him, I have some FA's you need to pick up, he had no depth and I really couldn't help his Rbs. So I say drop a kicker, a defense and some other scrub and pick up Austin, Maclin, HMiller and Britt. All of a sudden he starts winning and he actually makes the playoffs for the first time in quite some time. Who is he playing in round one, ME. I beat him but since hindsight is 20/20 I will never do it again, he has no excuse now since he's wired but if I had Miles Austin I'd walk to the title. Just a lesson, never share anything even if the co owner is almost blood.

Wish I had the guts to follow through with starting Cribbs over Steve Smith. He hasn't done anything other than kick returns, but that's 20 points in my league. Would've really hit the spot.

Yeah, Brady just isn't performing like we remember him in 2007. If people remember him like he was in 02 03 04 05 and 06 before his unreal season in 07 you would remember him putting up similar fantasy numbers as he has this season. He never really was the stellar fantasy QB we all make him out to be. He was solid, not unbelievable.
