December 13, 200916 yr Glad to hear no serious injuries. This opens up the hunting issue in Fort Thomas again for sure. Take a picture of your son, the car and the 8 pointer and take it to the next council meeting when they are discussing allowing bow hunting to help thin the herd. I could care less about deer eating my flowers, but when they put people in danger than it becomes an issue. Well I think the hunt opens back up on Jan 1...I have heard the term "If it's brown, it's down" Trust me, there a more than few Deer taken from the City limits in Ft Thomas...
December 13, 200916 yr Also glad he is fine. A big one hit me at 4AM 4 years ago and I never saw him totaled out my 96 van. 4AM, and I'm the only car on the road. Must wanted to end his life.
December 13, 200916 yr Glad he is fine. Venison for Christmas I take it. This story did bring to mind that classic Christmas song "Grandma got run over by a Reindeer".

December 13, 200916 yr Did he keep the rack? Glad he is okay. I saw a HUMONGOUS DOE just standing in the island across from Johnson School in Ft. Thomas last night about midnight. I pulled my car up about 15 feet from it and it just looked at me. If I would have had a piece in my car I could have just stuck it out the window, dropped it and kept going. LOL

This city needs to do much, much more than they have in the past to thin the herd. I can't wait until someone tries to get me to sign a petition to stop the hunting of them, boy are they going to wish they passed me by.
December 13, 200916 yr Author Thunderbird, Do you happen to own 3 acres so I can take some brown down? The 3 acre thing is a JOKE!

December 13, 200916 yr Author I am so glad that he wasn't hurt anymore than he was. Deers on the highway are scary. I have never had a deer run out onto the road before until the other night.....we were driving home (I was driving) and we were coming up hwy 62...when MrRK said...Dear..Dear...I thought, "well how sweet is he calling me Dear". Then out of the corner of my eye I saw too "little" deers headed right toward my car.....Not DEAR....but DEER. before they got to my door it looked as if they tumbled down onto the ground......they didn't want to hit me anymore than I wanted them to...... That's hilarious, RK!
