December 13, 200916 yr 7. Funeral, The Arcade Fire (2004) - I have no idea who they are at all. So either I'm missing out on some really good music or this wasn't very good. Arcade Fire is flat-out awful. There was a good song called "Keep The Car Running," but everything else I've heard from them I've found to be extremely pretentious and another few choice words I won't share here. Extremely horrible was the cut "Low Cars Go," which incredibly got tons of airplay on WFPK and other left of the dial stations such as WUKY and WNKU. I don't get the critical love affair with them or The Shins or The Decemberists. They're all pretty loathsome, IMO. They're avant-garde in the sense that "avant-garde" is French for "sucks."

December 13, 200916 yr Personally College Dropout and The Blueprint are 2 of my favorite CD's I have ever listened to. All four of Kanye West's CD's have been incredible IMO. He was also just named one of Rolling Stone's Artist of the Decade. Anyone who hates him just needs to listen more closely to the quality music he produces and his lyrics to understand where his success and following comes from. :thumb:
