And would that mean Charlie Strong as the "next-man-up" for the Cinci job, and Charlie Weis as the next Defensive Coordinator for the Florida job? No sources...just thoughts....I don't see Urban Meyer leaving Florida, and I don't see BK leaving Cincinnati for any job other than ND (therefore I don't see BK being head coach at Florida next year in the event Meyer does leave).

And yes I thought and was told by someone different that BK had accepted. If you read my post I put Stoops was almost a done deal. I really don't care if you believe me or not I was just relaying what I heard from a very reliable guy I saw last night. He knows what he is talking about.

I am sick of all the rumors and people throwing things out there probably just like everyone else, but my source is well in the loop at ND and very much in the loop in Cincinnati.No offense, but you haven't been around long enough to be considered a reliable source yet! When it comes to Cincy, it stops and ends with GT on this board.

December 10, 200916 yr It has a better chance of happening than people think. I think the mystique of playing for ND is over. The northern or cold weather teams do not attract the athletes needed to win a national championship. Since the BCS has started only 5 of 24 teams in cold\cool climates have made the championship game. Ohio State 3 times, Va.Tech and Nebraska. One National Championship out of 12, Ohio State.Good luck to whomever gets the job. I think they will need it.:popcorn:
