Does the Salary cap come off next season?

#1 or #2 is too high to take a LB. You basically have to take a d-lineman or an o-lineman.

 

No sense in taking an RB. They're a dime a dozen and useless unless you have an o-line for them to run behind.

 

I like McClain a lot, but no way the Browns take him that early. Suh looked good against Texas, but I'm not a big fan of taking a DT early unless they're like 6'7'' 350.

 

I was thinking the samething... Maybe they take Ndamukong Suh and try for Spikes later... far fetched I know...:thumb:

In the NFL you have to draft either a QB or a lineman, it's hard to justify a 50 million dollar contract on any other position. I think you start up front.

While I agree that Ingram may be the best choice, if the Browns do draft a RB in the first round they better do something to build up a line for him.

 

Totally agree... You build a line first. Teams find good RB every year outside of the second round.

Suh or Berry. If they can trade down a few I'd take McClain. A quality RB will be available in the 2nd or 3rd round. Spiller would be a good pick, but that's kind of like taking Reggie Bush IMO. Take Lefevour in the 3rd or 4th if he's available.

Trade down 5 or 6 picks and take Spiller.

I would take Suh, Berry, McCoy, or Okung. I would have put Dunlap in the mix last week before his arrest, but he's out. Golden Tate could be an option as well, he is a once in a lifetime receiver IMO.

He's also got the strongest hands I've ever seen, and is a big play waiting to happen every time he runs a route. He is by far the best college receiver since Fitzgerald. I know Crabtree had the stats to say otherwise, but I've watched a lot of Notre Dame over the past three years, and Tate is for real. If he ends up being a bust, save this and I'll gladly eat my crow.

Like I said, Tate is very talented & has put up big numbers. But he hasn't dominated to where I'm ready to say he's a "once in a lifetime" player.

 

How fast is Tate? At 5'11'', he's fighting an uphill battle.

I knew all about him. Saw him play many times. He is a beast.
