Definitely a weapon, a slasher if you will. X will be very good on defense next year and unless a mobile QB takes over at Trinity it will be a an interesting year.

We're going to have to develop more OLs and DLs, plus I think we are marginal at best at QB for 2010.

 

Yes, X always has problems filling lines? NOT! We will be fine with the skill coming back.

Also with the re-tooling of the staff last year certain pressures are off and the pressure of the repeat will be far less.

I will keep telling myself that as I watch the replays of the two beatings we gave you this year, but I am concerned. Your freshman will be sophmores. haha. The first game was kinda close, but then you changed personnel and we destroyed you. Held to 55 yards in a half, you better have a good incoming freshman class. It is pretty easy to chirp about repeating, since the Tigers finally got a win against Beaty. But correct me if I am wrong Beaty does not graduate and he will be back and the Rocks will begin at the least,another three peat performance with the stock of players that will return no matter what class they are in. The Tigers at least put a little bit of fun back into the State Championships, but it never gets old 8 out of 10 this decade!:dancingpa:banana::ylsuper::jump:

I don't think anyone on Poplar Level road is ready to conceed the 2010 to St.Matthews.

With the alumni base, property and facilities at your disposal, there's no reason X shouldn't win multiple titles in all sports. It's larger than some small colleges. However the last time I checked, Trinity who's campus sits on a postage stamp and is half of X's age is doing quite well and it's seniors are ranked towards the top in ACT scores in this state. You can jump off your Higher than Almighty pedestal now TigerKat.

Don't let it bother you RM. There is one sport where X has no match, sitting in a circle telling themselves how superior they are (in their own minds). Meanwhile, take a look at this article. This is what a real Christ centered school does to train champions.

That is a bit of an academic romp wouldn't you agree? And speaking of ACT scores, St X. actually had two seniors who were some of the very few in the nation who scored a perfect 36 on every facet of the ACT test. Not to be arrogant, but that pedestal you speak of is somewhat deserved. :sssh:

This should be about football, but....

 

I'm with Trinity Alum....I don't mind that Trinity doesn't win in that category if that means they're making strides to ensure that those with academic challenges are being accepted into the Trinity family and educated to the best of their abilities. And I say that as the parent of a former 4 year, 4.0, 4 time Shamrock Award winner.
