Bengals ran all over the Browns.

8-3. WHO DEY

I find it comical that, in the update thread, posters are complaining about how we did not throw the ball.

Larry Johnson rushed for 107 yards on 22 carries (4.9 avg)

Bernard Scott rushed for 87 yards on 18 carries (4.8 avg).

When ya do that, how often do you really need to throw the football?

My only problem is that we didn't use much play action, nor did we ever take a shot down field. Bengals were penalized too much, but other than that, no complaints from me.

Bengals sweep the division for the 1st time in franchise history.

It's a win, and I'll take it. Not a pretty game to watch though.

Exactly what I was thinking.

But 8-3. :dancingpa

Part of that is due to the fact that the Bengals were committed to the run game. They started off with Scott by running on the outside, then came with LJ and pounded the ball between the tackles. Not a pretty gameplan, but effective.

One thing that probably won't get much attention was Huber's punting. Off the top of my head, I think he had decent numbers. But, more importantly, he was able to avoid Cribbs. Cribbs kept the Browns in the game last matchup. He was not able to return any punts or kicks this week, and it made the anemic Browns offense attempt to move the ball downfield.

Good point.

Now we need the Ravens to do their job!

I think the Bengals played conservative on purpose. They knew they could run, and they knew Clevland couldn't. Special teams were great too. Cribbs was a non-factor.

This is a different Bengal team. They play smashmouth and win on defense. (I'd like to see more passing, but hey, this is working.)

It ironic that the Bengals play like the Ravens and Steelers of old now, and sweep the division. While the Ravens and Steelers are now the teams throwing a lot.

Who Dey!

Tough game to go to in a way. Bengals ran it all day to kill the clock and Cleveland was just terrible.

WHO DEY...I will take a Ugly win any day...

A Win is A Win is a big fat W....:ylsuper::ylsuper::ylsuper:

Man it feels good to be a Bengals Fan...:dancingpa

We need a new broom that one is worn out...:ylsuper:

Not pretty, but I will absolutely take it.

Let's get the Ravens home tonight now!

Pretty boring game really but I will glady take it. Who Dey!!
