Its a NOON eastern time start. It only takes an hour and a half to get there from Somerset and the team isn't allowed on the field until 55 minutes before game time. They should be able to leave by 8am and have plenty of time. I think its a good move. They'll get much more rest staying with their parents and sleeping in their own beds. When you put 4 high school boys in a room together they just aren't going to go to sleep. Someone's going to be nervous and keep everyone up or someone will want to cut up or play cards. I've seen it too many times. I think its a good move.

It shouldn't hurt anything. On most game days they meet for breakfast at 7AM, go to school then head directly to the fieldhouse at 3PM where they stay until gametime. It'll actually be a shorter day this way. :thumb:

It will be 2 hours min. It about 115 miles from Somerset to Bowling Green. On a school bus it will be 2 hours at least.

Any word yet if any pep buses will be going. I had a few people relate to me Friday night that they would love to go but don't have transportation.

I wasn't really disagreeing with you about staying home and driving over that morning. More just clarifying the travel time. If a 2 hour bus ride cost them the game they never should have been there to start with.

I see Somerset winning this one 28-14. I know regions are different , but I can't see a 6 loss team beating an undefeated team.
