Timmy Knipp should be rated higher, he is a very good basketball player. Boone isn't overrated, I believe Gabbard will take over games this season, they will give Holmes a good game. The ninth is deep this season.

I agree, Timmy Knipp should be rated higher.

Do they really believe Euton is the 9th best player in our state?

I watched 9 guys better than him today at the Fast Lane classic...and I'm not talking about the two out of state teams.

Eastern should be #1 and Perry Central in top #25

Ahead of Scott County and defending champs Holmes?

Sewell as the third best player in his region? Some say he might be the best player in the state.

That's one tough region.

The kid can ball. He should be no lower than 3 on that list

Yea

With Scott Co losing to Ballard and Holmes losing to Bowman Academy (IN) in the opening week end, how does that shake up the rankings?

I'd go with the following top 5 now:

1. Eastern

2. Holmes

3. Clark Co

4. Ballard

5. Scott Co

I'd move Clark Co below Ballard. IMO, they would also have trouble with Ballard's overall athleticism.

If Polson is #10 in the state, then both of Boone's guards (Gabbard/Popp) should also be right there or better, based on yesterday's game between Boone and W. Jessamine. Gabbard had 19, Polson 15, Popp 11 pts and 4 steals. Polson looked solid but not top 10. He struggled with the quickness of Boone's guards and fouled out in OT. Boone had a whole bunch of steals against W. Jessamine's team.

Eastern didn't look like a top 3 team in the state against Manual Friday night. You can watch the game on Wazoosports.com as a replay to see for your self. Ballard on the other hand looked like they are further along than Eastern at this point in the season, which makes me put them ahead of Eastern. Ballard's athleticism really came to light against Scott County.

Gabbard gets a lot of props in the N Ky area but I feel is underrated on a statewide basis. Popp gives Boone another ballhandling/defensive option other teams just don't have from the 2 spot.

Difference in yesterdays game vs West Jessamine was the guard play of Boone.

No not a prep school, it is a public school in Gary, Indiana. Bowman Academy beat South Laurel 24 the night before they played Holmes.
