The passion the Raceland fans and players have is something special. Loren Huffman, a senior who has unmatched heart and love of the team, came up to my son, a freshman, and told him he would be a good player and that he would be around supporting them. I guess mine was a tranfer who stayed. In my opinion Raceland was a good fit, actually caring about their grades and the child. Thanks to everyone.

That's why Raceland does as well as they do. There were some things this year that this team had to overcome. And that goes for everyone even the coaches. I think this year was somewhat of a learning process. Some things will be changed next season. The stuff that occured this year will not happen next year. And the coaches really showed the younger guys that towards the end of the season this year.

This is LCA's year to shine. This bunch has been togeather for 4 years making it misarable for mortal teams and have stepped up this year. I would like to see LCA bring home the big trophy for Coach Rains.

Thank you again and yes I agree, LCA is a class act from the coaching staff to the players and fans.

 

Raceland is a special, close knit place and the special bonds between the Raceland Coaches, players, fans and community are what separates Raceland from alot of place and it seems that LCA has that same kind of feel to it.

I am not a Racelan or LCA fan, However, I was there Friday and was very impresed in what I saw how LCA recognized a very special person in Oldrambler and his support of Raceland football. We had Thanksgiving dinner last nite with Randy Coopers daugters and grand children at my house and I told them how impressed I was with what went on and Coop Dog would have been proud since he was a Ram. You people are all great and thanks. JD
