November 15, 200916 yr Great, great win for the Bengals. All doubters have been silenced. I believe in this team and even with that belief I thought Pitt would win today, am I ever glad I was wrong. No letdown game now, let's keep it rolling.
November 15, 200916 yr JJ needs to work on his hands some more. He dropped 3 picks today. Now we know why he played corner in college and not receiver.
November 15, 200916 yr Scott hasn't returned a kick since Freshman year in college. All the more impressive!
November 15, 200916 yr Marvin Lewis coach of the year. I read article after article in August in magazines and newspapers saying that the Bengals would finish below .500 and their o-line was a pre-season grade of 'F'. Well, sweep of Ravens and Steelers, won at Lambeau, 4 road wins, should be 8-1 and: Best tight end - out Back up tight end - out Best pash rusher - out Best pre-season WR - out Best linebacker - out Starting safety - out #1 draft pick - out starting running back - out starting full back - out And they go into Hines Field and beat the defending Super Bowl champs to take a two game lead on the them and a 4 game lead on the Ravens. Are you kidding me? I'm not saying Super Bowl, but this team is very, very good. They should at least get a home playoff game.

Even about a team I support. They lost fair and square no one cheated and for that they are 7-2 not 8-1.
November 15, 200916 yr No they shouldn't. I hate it when people say that. Even about a team I support. They lost fair and square no one cheated and for that they are 7-2 not 8-1. :thumb: As easily as the ball could have bounced the Bengals way against the Broncos, it could have bounced the other way in some of their other close games as well. I remember a Steeler wide-out (Sweed, mayble) dropping an open look in the endzone in the first matchup. With that said, I'm ecstatic with the Bengals being 7-2 and atop the division.
November 15, 200916 yr Larry Johnson the Bengals are on line 1... What? No way. That would be a very poor decision. :ohbrother:
November 16, 200916 yr What? No way. That would be a very poor decision. :ohbrother: Is Dee Dee Dorsey still available? Scott & Leonard are a much better option than LJ. LJ is about out of gas & is too much of a risk for the Bengals to take on at this point in the season.
November 16, 200916 yr Kids had basketball games this afternoon so I had to DVR the game and just got finished watching. Went to change my avatar and I guess someone changed it for me. Not sure about that but anyway........The Bengals won all of these categories today.....coaching, offense, defense, line of scrimmage, rushing, passing, blitzing, stopping the run, coaching, covering, special teams, turnovers, QB battle, coaching, pass rush, blocking, tackling, spirit and heart, they wanted more(motivation), catching, smartness(two defensive penalties on the last drive) and basically any other football fundamental I'm leaving out. I guess the closest thing they competed in would be field goal kicking. Needless to say Im very upset with the way this football team was prepared. Bengal fans should be very proud of their team.

November 16, 200916 yr http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/11/14/mike-brown-isnt-ready-to-crown-his-team-and-could-be-adding-to-it/ Doesn't change the fact that it'd be a poor addition. I think Dorsey would be a much better option at this point.
November 16, 200916 yr Doesn't change the fact that it'd be a poor addition. Simply providing a link... :idunno:
