Yes but sometimes they play at Southern. This game will be played at Manual.

 

FYI..I am jumping on the DeSales bandwagon.

HC seems to struggle against favored opponents, I hope they can get over the hump but I'm not expecting them to come back with a W.

Didn't they declare Manual Field unsafe for play after the Male/Manual mud bowl. If so there is nothing that can be done to change the status of that field in the past 10 days.

 

PS - I think Desales is better this year than last year.

I am not aware of the field being declared unsafe? I will tell you our weather has been very nice over the last 3/4 days and the week is supposed to be good as well. I would think the field would be in good shape for this game.

 

Yes, I heard Coach Sanders say the same thing.

IMO this is going to be a very close hard fought game, and I am going to say that HC wins 21-17. OT may be needed once again for a decision. But this is going to be a great game.

I would really like to see HC win this game but it won't happen Desales is to big and fast, one of the most physical team I have seen all year. Good luck to HC they are going need it.

HC is going to have to practice really hard this week and come ready to play if they want to beat this excellent DeSales team. They can not keep taking weeks off like they did for Shadyside, that will guarantee them a loss.

This HC senior class is too talented to have the season they have had. They need to win this game. Throw the deep ball, Norris or Zigler will get it, and let Markel play. Good luck to them. They owe DeSales for that "holding" call last year...

This is a tough challenge for HC. Both teams are better then they were last year. HC has the talent to pull off the upset. Can they pull a "Dixie" (vs Ashland) and put together their best game of the year? That is what it will take for HC to get the victory.

I am picking the Colts. DeSales 35 Covington Holy Cross 21.

 

I am hoping to see the Colts in Bowling Green this year.

It is my understanding that this game has been moved to Southern High School field. Manual stadium is a mess.
