November 9, 200916 yr He has said in the past ND is his dream job, and honestly what does he have left to accomplish at Florida??? My memory is stale. Why did he pass on ND the first time he had a chance?
November 9, 200916 yr My memory is stale. Why did he pass on ND the first time he had a chance? ND did a horrible job in the hiring process and blew their chance by dragging their feet...
November 9, 200916 yr What if Jim Tressell goes to ND.. Kelly to OSU and Charlie Strong to UC? Apparently OSU fans think Kelly is going to be their OC so that couldn't work...

November 9, 200916 yr Why? If you have a whole week to stop the option and you still get torn to pieces by a team with inferior skill you deserve no pitty. Because I think he is a good coach, and he's done a good job recruiting while he's been there, he just seems so backwards when dealing with people that he doesn't know how to actually "coach". I believe him when he says that he has a decided strategical advantage, I just don't think he's able to convey that knowledge effectively.

At a certain point, he has had enough chances to prove himself. Time for ND to move on.

No doubt he is an offensive genius, he just may not be able to teach it to the players correctly. I feel bad for him because I think he knows alot about football, he just cannot be the man in control.

I feel bad for him because I think he knows alot about football, he just cannot be the man in control. He's one of the best offensive coordinator in the history of Modern Football, but no, not the man to be coaching the most prestigious football team-Professional or College-of all-time. He just doesn't have the mind set to be a head coach, he would probably struggle at Highlands-and if anyone is automatic to win a title it's them. I mean, look at how he does in press conferences and he wins games his team should win, he does about as well as I would addressing the National Media and he cries when his team wins.
