I'm looking forward to seeing the Rams for the first time. I'm sure they will bring a solid squad to Independence on Friday night. Apparently the Rams have speed and can score some points but Conner's bread n butter isn't their defense. Butler's offense was centered around one player and it appears that Manual's offense is multi-dimensional. Keep believing that SK is a slow team and you may dissappoint yourself next Friday.

Can anybody help here? I thought Henry Clay was one of the fastest teams in the state? Is Manual that much faster? I have not seen either so I don't know for sure but I have a hard time believing they will alot faster than Henry Clay. :idunno:

Nearly 9 yards per carry for Simpson, another productive night. He only needs 6 yards to break 2000 yards rushing on the season. Scary to imagine what his numbers would be like had he been healthy before district play had started.

Or if he had played more than the first half in some games.

Manual's "speed" team scored 20 versus Butler. Simon Kenton put up 49. What do the Butler fans think of SK versus Manual?

Manual really isn't that fast. I also think the Butler game was played in bad weather by two coaches that know each other as former assistants on the same staff, I wouldn't make too much by comparative scores. Manual's d is geared to stop the run so it should be a good one.

I am shocked that Butler scored.

 

 

I look for Manual to have trouble stopping another that can be very diverse on offense.
