SK onside kicked it with 1:22 seconds to go in the 2nd quarter after it was already 29 to 0. I know it is a rivalry but come Sk, show some class. Plus its not that smart when the next sport coming after football is basketball which Scott clearly dominated them all 3 games last year and are pretty fired up for their next encounter. See if they show any class

 

Being the first half, I see nothing wrong with this. There are times when teams need to work on certain things during a game. This was probably one of those things.

I didn't know on side kicking in the first half was unsportsmanlike.

I seriously doubt that the onside kick in the football game will be in anybody's mind during basketball season, especially Coach Carr. As far as the starters being left in too late, the only huge issue of this was in the Conner game, other than that I haven't had too much of a problem with it.

Who really cares about SK doing an onside kick ? To me being an Eagle fan I didn't mind it sometimes you need to practice things in a live game to see what happens. The only complaint I have is why the kid from Scott stood there and watched the ball go right by him and didn't even try to get it. That needs to be taught by the Coaching Staff that you don't stand there and watch the ball go by you on an onside kick.

 

The thing I did like the most about the game is Scott never gave up they tried hard all the way til the end.

Not sure I'd have kept Simpson in the game in the 4th quarter with those field conditions if I was the coach, decoy or not, but I've got zero problem with working on the onside kick particularly in the first half.

I agree. The last regular season game anything is fair. Your team has to get ready for the play offs. If the coach thinks his players need to work on something it shouldn't matter what the score is. This goes both ways if your up or down if your team need work on something you just do it and not worry about winning or losing.

:thumb:Great point, espcially sense Scott is a playoff team so they need to be preparing for these types of situations. Shoot that decision by SK may end up helping Scott in the playoffs, they're definitely aware now that they need to work on fielding an onside kick.
