That's basically the way coach B said it. Hate to see this happen. Royals have had some good years and teams to make some noise in the playoffs and I believe they have what it takes to win the title this year! Fearis is gonna have to step up and play like he did tonight as it looks like his number's been called.

 

Agreed,Only thing is we will have to have some passing game to keep the running game open.Only 2 passes tonight with Pawsat out,But the run was very effective tonight.Colt did a nice job Maintaining the game clock on a spur of the moment like that.

What happened to Pawsat? I hate to see him go down because Mason County has a legitimate chance to make it to and even win the state this year. I guess it just goes to show you need a lot of things to come together to go all the way. It sounds like they didn't miss a beat tonight, though, with the backup in there.

 

Pawsat got hit on the Greenup Co sidelines. He didn't get up for a while. They say it's an ACL injury. Lot of late hits in the first half. Must of been 5 or 6 of them. Every play there was a flag it seemed like. Lot of flags for hits 20 -25 yards away from the play. The first half was dirty. After Greenup Co went down by 4 or 5 scores then all the dirty playing kind of went away. Both teams were playing that way. Greenup Co must have had 3 or 4 fumbles. And I think they lost two positions on the kickoff. The deep backs had trouble picking up the ball and Mason Co would recover it. It was a very sloppy played game on Greenup Co's part.( Maybe next year.)

Took a helmet to the knee,And it looks bad.But you never know,God willing he will play again this year.

Mason County had a lot of the early flags, but think Greenup caught up as the first half went along. Sounded on radio like both teams lost their composure early

About what I expected...hope the Pawsat kid is okay.

I like the Harris kid from Mason, he is going to have a great career. Mason played well and looked focus. I wish them luck in the playoffs.

He is going to be a top notch running back. For that matter, he already is! Teams will focus on stopping him now, though, if the QB is out. The yards might be harder to come by. At some point in the playoffs, the backup QB will have to win a game with his arm. Maybe he can...but I still hate to hear about the starter going out.

I have to say the back up did a good job. Of course, the ball was kept on the ground, but he does run pretty well.

I think we had 7 fumbles. GC didnt punt all night, the offense looked good until a fumble would stop the drive. Mason had trouble stoping the second back belly. Congrats Mason on a great season. Good luck in the playoffs

Colt had 5 rushing touchdowns, tying a school record. Colt can't throw as well as Neil but he's faster, adding another rushing threat. I enjoyed watching Mason proving they can grind it out. Both offensive and defensive lines played well for Mason.

Let's also remember that Colt has been battling shoulder problems all season. If he goes down, Mason could be in serious trouble. My prayers are with Neal and his family. Hopefully the Royals can rally around Neal and keep this train rolling.

If I remember right Pawsat had some kind of injury last year also. Hope he's ok.
