No doubt Mayfield is the better team. But man our guys looked lost out there. I KNEW and called it that the double pass was coming on the first play of the game. JD didn't play anywhere near his abilities and made some terrible throws. Although I don't think we'd be within 2 TD's in a few weeks. I think we'll play better next go round. Thats the fastest Mayfield team I've seen

I wouldn't sell Crittenden short. They're still a very good team that had a bad night against a more athletic team with alot more playmakers that played about as good as they could play. Crittenden plays a solid 9-0 Murray team next week. I think that'll tell us alot more about the Rockets than tonight did.

What a crowd...huge fan turnout for both teams. Critt has a nice team but Mayfield was clickin and Gray had a sloppy game. See Critt in a few weeks...

Mayfield hit on all cylinders and Crittenden played the worst they could. They'll be more competitive in a couple of weeks but Mayfield will still win by 14-21

Mayfield was more physical, more diverse and the coaches had a very good game plan for Critt. Co. We shut down Gray which was the main reason they could do so little. I also thought Critt. got out of things they normally do to start the game and it backfired on them. Critt. is a physical team but lacks overall team speed which Mayfield is very abundant in. By the second score you knew this game was over. We should see Critt. again unless they lay an egg somewhere. Like some I have talked to I dont know if it in our best was interest to beat Critt. so bad for the over confidence issue that may or may not come up.

This game should establish (what Mayfield fans have known) to some of you here that Mayfield is one of the very top teams in class 1A.

Congrats to Mayfield on an impressive win. I still am going to say LCA is the team to beat in 1A but Mayfield is making a strong case that they are a force to reckoned with.

If there is a weak spot on this Mayfield team, I'm not sure what it is. This team brings it every week, mentally and physically no matter the opposition... something that hasn't happen in the last few seasons.

Every time he touches the ball, the crowd anticipates that he's taking it to the house. How fun is this guy to watch ! That second punt return where he ran around in a circle for like 30-40 seconds was sick...he nearly took that one to the house also. Heard he has been to UK & Memphis...I would LOVE to see him at the next level!
