October 22, 200917 yr Author Article from my site: Shelby Valley's Elisha Justice has told Louisville head coach Rick Pitino that he is committing to the Cardinals. Shelby Valley head coach Jason Booher says Justice made this decision based upon a number things. One major thing is the history that Coach Pitino has with developing preferred walk-ons. A few to name is Will Scott, Cameron Mills, Anthony Epps, Chris Smith (brother of NBA player J.R. Smith), and Alhaji Mohammad (who is currently playing professional overseas). He has developed many of his walk-ons into great players and some have later earned full scholarships. They have also played significant roles in Final Four and national championship runs. Another major factor is Justice's future goal of going into college coaching. The opportunity at Louisville would allow him to play under a Hall of Fame coach that has a history of developing great coaches. He looks foward to playing for Coach Pitino and the University of Louisville.

October 22, 200917 yr What offers did he have? I'm pretty sure Eastern had already offered. Maybe Morehead and Marshall, but I don't know that for sure.

October 22, 200917 yr First congrats to Justice on committing to walk-on at UofL. Glad to see our Kentucky boys advance to play at the next level. To my knowledge that will make 3 Ky boys next year for Louisville. Preston Knowles of GRC, and walkons, Phares of Scott Co and Justice of Shelby Valley.

October 22, 200917 yr I knew Pitino flew into Pikeville yesterday to watch him work out and see if he was quick enough to handle playing in the Big East. I guess the answer was yes. Congrats to Elisha, who IMO is the best point guard in the state.
