I watched part of this one. Having been gone for a bit on here I missed the hubub about Quick playing varsity, but I can say without a doubt that he is playing on the level he should be! He is going to be scary good as he progresses.

I knew this would be major improvement for the Rocks when Quick moved up to varsity. I would compare his skill level to that of DeVante Parker, the super junior receiver for Ballard. Things will get only better when Hatcher, Dawkins, and possibly a few more of the freshman team get promoted to the varsity.

Kragthorpe was throwing the ball VERY well last night...I just hope everyone keeps underestimating us...dont look now, but the locomotive seems to be picking up a bit of steam

The Rocks are really coming together. Kragthorpe is getting in a groove, looks comfortable now and is making good decisions. The OL and DL play better each week and look to be settling into the personnel needed to win number 5. I see the confidence and leadership emerging too. I really like this team and with the addition of Quick, WOW! Keep improving and by playoffs there will be nothing left of the team that lost 4 of its first 5 games.

Hey I have a question, if Steve Kragthorpe gets fired from UL, what will happen with Brad? Will he finish out at Trinity or leave?

Kragthorpe isn't getting fired this season....can't worry about next. On a side note, I would hope he stays either way, it would be very difficult to transfer your senior year, as a QB, and hope to play.

Great point. There should be no comparision of the two. Why should a Father's employment situation even be discussed on a board reviewing a Highs School Football game?

^^^Stay away from the Cardinal sports board. Haven't talk to my relative about the game, I think they are hoping to make the playdowns.

Looks like some other teams are going to have to adjust to different quarterbacks like we have had to do most of the season. Early in the season Brad was hobbling so bad he couldn't play. I watched him very closely Friday night and he does not appear 100% yet to me. I saw him limping on several occasions. Had he been healthy all season, and had 8 full games under his belt, I think we may be farther along than we are. If he stays healthy from here on, I like our chances. The passing game is really coming along. Injuries are part of football. We have been dealing with them all season.

I like the progress the team is making! Brad Kragthorpe is showing great improvement. His reads and decision making is really coming along. James Quick is the real deal! He is such a threat deep. With the attention he is getting it has freed up Melillo and Nix. We just need to get healthy, stay healthy and improve each week. Remember... it's a 15 game season. I like our chances. GO ROCKS! #20!
