You need to read section II A there has to be a mutal agreement between the teams.

This is about what days the game has to be played on, not where.

The site would have to be agreed upon too. In section II 7 C it just says that the team that is designated as the home teams such as odd regions this year host the semi's. Back in 1992 when we played Highlands in the semi's we played it on Thanksgiving this is why the rule is schange that both teams would have to agree. I am like you I've been wrong before. I geuss it will al come out later. If it came to a Boyle and Bell game Centre could not hold it.

Forgive my ignorance, but in which section does it state that the SITE must be agreed upon by both teams, it looks to me as if both would have to agree only if there is a change with the initial date the game would have been played on. :confused:

I'll have to admit McShara will be hard to tackle there. But if the High School Athletic Association rules it O.K., What Bell Co. wants wouldn't make any difference.

Bell will play them anytime and anywhere. What most people don't realize is that we probably have alot more speed. I am just saying that I think everything would have to be agreed by both teams you are talking about money that would have to be split between schools. I don't think that Centre could hold all of the fans. I will just be happy to be there. Centre College is not and EKU or somewhere like that I am just giving my O.

But that's not what it says based on what has been produced here. Unless you can back up your assertion with a paragraph from the rules I would say that the home team can move the site in the immediate geographic region.

IF Bell and Boyle make it to that point I would think Bell would love to play on the Turf. They have speed at every postion. Granted McShara is fast but Bell has some boys pretty quick too. This is not the Bell teams of the 90's were size was the name of the game, this bunch can move.

If it is supposed to be at home then there is no reason for a team to want it moved to another location Bell County will play anywhere just hope that we are there. It is along way off until then. If Boyle moved it to me it there wouldn't be any home field advantage. I could care less.

And all I'm saying is that I'm looking for the facts to support the positions. I could care less since I don't have to play in it. :clap:

 

I just want to know where the "mutual consent" part comes from in terms of the rules. That's all. I haven't seen it posted here and the sections cited don't seem to reveal that thought at all. It's not a personal slam at Bell or challenge, I'm just looking for actual data. :thumb:

I agree with you I am not looking at what Thin Thirty said either we willhave to just see what happens between now and then. I just hope that both teams are there playing.

Boyle continues to roll. They are having a very special season.

Nobody will beat Boyle this year.

Just some FYI on the Rebel's schedule. Much has been made of it being very weak in the not too distant past. But after last night's games, it doesn't look nearly so bad now.

 

If you take out two teams who are a combined 3-13, the rest of Boyle's opponents have a 29-20 record and I think they are all "break even" to winning record. (even throwing the two bad records in the record is 32-33) BTW, the two BAD teams (record wise) are: Danville and Mercer County. (Who'd have thought?)

You wouldn't think that the 2 losing records on their opponents list would be Danville and Mercer. They can't help that. Boyle is very solid, without a doubt.
