Going from 8th grade to high school you can pretty much go wherever you want as long as that school will allow you to enroll. Once you've established eligibility by participating in a varsity sport once enrolled in the 9th grade is where the KHSAA steps in with eligibility rules. If a kid went through his sophomore year and never played varsity anything he's pretty much free to move around.

His AAU coach had legal guardianship and lives in the NO district. That's where he was living, I'm told.

He may not be a starter but it will only be because he is a freshman. He is better then some who "start" in front of him IMO.

Of course it does. As I previously stated - he's starter-caliber just about everywhere else. And - as you point out - some think he's better than some of Shelby's current starters.

No offense to anyone but a coach would have to walk on water and me be on my death bed before I EVER let them serve as my child's guardian.
