While I'm not commenting on talent, do you people said the thing years ago about Pippen and/or Rodman? Avery Johnson?

Pippen and Rodman were coming out of high school 25 years ago, mind you, before AAU ball had exploded into the monster it is today.

 

Rodman, as I understand it, played juco ball and NAIA ball because of academic issues.

Pitino did make it today. He had two people with but I was not there to know who they were. They stayed through the entire practice and spoke with Elijah. What I have been told was they liked what they saw and want him to come in on an official visit. They did not talk offers, walk on or scholarship. Pitino told him they would discuss that stuff on the visit. Again I was not there.... just told this tonight from someone that probably knows.

Elisha Justice Impresses Louisville Staff

 

I just found out from a very reliable source that Louisville head coach Rick Pitino and assistants Ralph Willard and Steve Masiello visited Shelby Valley's practice today. The coaches were there to watch 2010 point guard Elisha Justice and I am told "they loved what they saw!"

 

Justice would potentially be brought to Louisville as Peyton Siva's backup next season as a freshman.

 

Justice and his parents will be making a visit to Louisville this Sunday to watch the Red-White intrasquad scrimmage.

He also said they would be discussing an offer during Justice's visit this weekend.

My gut tells me he ends up at Morehead State or ETSU but we'll see.

I don't know that Morehead State is recruiting him all that hard. EKU is after him.

If he gets offered a walk-on at Louisville, I wouldn't accept if he gets a scholarship offer from EKU.

Pitino said they are in the worst shape at PG they have been since he's been a Louisville. They commented that his quickness impressed them, and they really like that he is so strong with his left hand dribble.

Maybe someone else can confirm but I have been told he has committed to the Cards a few minutes ago. No details as to walk on or scholarship.
