Rick Pitino to Visit Shelby Valley's Elisha Justice

 

I have learned that University of Louisville head coach Rick Pitino will be flying back from New York tomorrow to evaluate Shelby Valley point guard Elisha Justice.

 

Pitino is looking for a backup point guard in the 2010 Class and is apparently considering a scholarship offer for Justice. Previously, the Cardinals had discussed the possibility of bringing Justice on as a walk-on with the opportunity to earn a scholarship. I hope to have more information after Pitino's visit.

 

Justice is also scheduled to make an official visit to Eastern Kentucky on Friday and Saturday.

Elisha is a great player however it will shock me if they offer him. Especially with players like Ricardo Johnson in state along with Guyn from Scott County. There is no question here whether those two are quick enough, big enough, or athletic enough to play in the Big East.

If what you say is true then there is no question that Justice will be getting an offer if Pitino is only looking to see if he's quick enough.

 

But Imo there is no way. Rico and Guyn are much stronger, bigger, and more athletic than Justice.

Overall I think they are all 3 similar. Those 2 have size over Justice but size isn't everything just ask many NBA teams who drafted size instead of skill and it backfired.

 

Justice is quicker than both of the players you mentioned, and IMO, is equally as athletic. It will be nice to see how it all plays out.

Those two players are great players and they are taller than Justice, but I would almost guarantee that Justice is quicker and stronger.

I don't think Justice is as good as Guyn or Johnson. But at the same time the kid can play. I'd hate to put a ceiling on him because he is a winner. I think he will have a nice college career wherever it may be.
