October 21, 200916 yr Brother, don't fool yourself, U of L has very deep pockets, and they play in a conference that has one of the easiest tracks to the title game......whoever it may be, it will be a huge deal, and Gill doesn't fit the criteria....... UC could go undefeated and still might not make a title. Big East just doesn't have a big enough name for a huge coach to come in. I think the Up and Coming Coaches are the guys to get. Those guys seem to make the biggest instant impacts. I think that U of L could possibly get someone like Tubbs, but I'm not sure that he would have as big of an impact as someone like Charlie Strong.

December 1, 200916 yr Author The three top names seem to be: Charlie Strong Butch Jones Kevin Sumlin I really think it will be Strong if he wants it. UF is supposedly putting together a big package to keep him at UF as the DC. If so, it may be harder than expected to lure him away from there.

He has publically started to lobby for Strong to get the U of L job. He wants his coaches to move on, if the situation is correct.

I literally just got a text from someone that is very, very, very close to Jurich....he has never told me everything...but always hints...and he said barring anything crazy...Monday would be the latest it would be announced.

December 2, 200916 yr Author There seems to have been a lot of "leaks" with Strong. He made some comments after their game, Urban has been promoting him, Chris Redman made some comments (then retracted them). The main thing is TJ said he would wait until some of these teams were done. I really hope it's Strong. I think that will be a homerun if true.
