Henry needs to play a good game in ALL THREE PHASES! If they could ever hit on all cylinders they would be very dangerous.

Very true!...but probably a sentiment echoed by every coach in KY...

All tied at 11 in the voting...this game may be just as close...

Looks like this one may be played in the mud so I would give the edge to which line controls the line of scrimmage.

I though't north had astro turf. but controling the line of scrimmage is a big factor regardless.

No. South Oldham has the artificial playing surface; Oldham County and North Oldham have grass fields.

Thanks for the info. Both of these teams know each other very well and we're all looking foward to a great game.

This has become a very good rivalry game; only one of the 7 games to date was lopsided...

This is always such a great game, which is why I picked it for Pegasus' broadcast this week. It's become a traditional nail-biter.

North 21

Henry 14

No excuses for this game. Both teams had a week off to get healthy. I don't think North is as good as last year. Henry is probably some better because they played a lot of sophs. last year. And the good thing about sophomores is they become juniors. Bad weather predicted for Friday. Don't know if that favors any one team. Henry has played a beefed up schedule this year to get better prepared for the district schedule. We'll see how that plays out. I'm going with the Wildcats is a nail bitin', snot bubblin', rip snorter. Go Cats!

There you go, using those technical terms again...

They've added perhaps two "beefed up" games. The Anderson Co game will help them, but let's not act like they've completely outdone themselves on scheduling. Their first four games (including against my own team) were easy wins.

Also, just because a team has many of the same kids back, doesn't mean that they are necessarily BETTER than the year before. Admittedly, I've seen Henry Co play one game each year (against my team), but hands down last year's team played MUCH better in those games.

That being said, I also felt like last year's NO team was better.

Last year, both teams were ranked (North #10, Henry #9) coming into this game (both were 4-0). This year, both are 4-2 and unranked, but on the fringes...
