I'm thinking Gators, that D is good.

I voted UF, with or without Tebow.

Why?.............they are better.

LSU even with Tebow. Wishful thinking again. :p:D

I wouldn't mind seeig that at all.

Florida wins this one with a vastly superior defense. UF doesn't face too many mobile quarterbacks, but when they do, they usually bottle them up-see Ohio State 2006. This D is faster, deeper and more skilled than any D UF has ever had and one of the best in the SEC's recent history. Look for that to come through and give young Jordan Jefferson a bevy of problems. The LSU Defense will have problems with Florida's receivers IMO, they aren't good, but they are big and physical, something LSU has had problems with this season. If Tebow can't go, they need to establish their running game and Brantley needs to use Hernandez and Demps and Rainey out of the back field early and often. If Tebow plays, I think he'll be 100% and if he is: Watch Out.

With Tebow:

UF 35 LSU 10

Without Tebow

UF 21 LSU 10.

The streak of night games in Death Valley ends Saturday night. Go Gators!

Agree with Big Spikes as fellow Gator fan think that Gator D is just too tough for LSU. If Tebow plays or does not play Gators win. GO GATORS.

Spikes while I agree with you that UF takes it either way, I think LSU's secondary has the edge over UF's WRs. Moore, Nelson, Cooper aren't really going to scare anyone, so I think they are a key to the game if Tebow isn't playing. If the UF WR don't step up and help Brantley its going to be a close game.

My reason for saying that is the UF's RBs, especially Demps and Rainey, need some help to get the creases in the defense they thrive in. That's created alot by the defense having to respect Tebow, and also by UF's ability to stretch the field vertically. The WR's haven't played that well this season, but defenses still have to respect all areas of the field because you have the RB's who can take it to the house, you have to account for Tebow running and his down the field passing, and Hernandez leaking out. I think that if you take Tebow out of the equation, defenses have to worry about a lot less.

Brantley is a better passer, but you don't have to account for him in the run game. That's going to leave at least one more defender to stop the RB's in the run game, or play pass coverage.

Either way, LSU won't be able to score enough to win. I just don't see UF's WRs having the same effect as an A.J. Green.

With Tebow- UF 38 LSU 10

Without Tebow- UF 24 LSU 10.

JMO.

Fla wins, but not impressive over a bad top 5 team.:puke:

Any win, especially one over a top 15 ranked team is a good win, IMO.

True. :thumb:

I'm taking the upset.

LSU doesn't lose at night.

LSU 24

UF 21

Very true statement, I'm sure Death Valley will be rocking. I'd say the Cajuns are prepping for the game as we speak.:dancingpa

This is true. LSU has won 32 straight night games. BUT out of all 32 games, they have only played a ranked team 5 times.

The valley will be NUTS saturday night. I believe it was Pat Forde who said today; "Bieng a night game the LSU students will have more time to "prepare" for this game".

Also saw where LSU fans have gotten a hold of Brantleys cell phone number. And they have been sending him hateful and taunting text messages. The Tiger fans take their football SERIOUS!

Tebow has been cleared to play against LSU but he can't heal others or walk on water for another week.

LSU 24-21.

UF has lost at least one game to the SEC West in the regular season for the last ten years. If that streak is going to continue, you'd think it would happen tomorrow.
