Just got a message from Mr. Flannery. He tells me that his son received an offer from Walsh University. Austin will be a senior at Scott County High School this upcoming season. He played on the AAU State Championship team with Shining Star Sports this past summer. Congrats to Austin! Hopefully this is the first of many for Austin.

Where is Walsh? What division are they in? I am not familiar with that school.

Walsh University will be Division 2 next year. They have a great program.

Weems the new Graduate Assistant for KY just graduated from Walsh U.and was an All-American player there.

How big of an offer?

Congrats to Austin. When converting from NAIA to D2, I think the school goes into a probation period for two years. (Not eligible for D2 tourney until probation period ends)

Austin Flannery was also offered a preferred walk on at EKU and has a visit with NKU to tour the campus/dormsn and workout with the team on Monday October 5th.

 

I would love to see him end up at NKU.
