Fantasy Football Advice: Week Three

Still mulling the Jackson/Portis situation over, but I've got another for you. I've gotta pick two receivers out of my four.

Wes Welker vs. Atlanta

Roy Williams vs Carolina

Lee Evans vs New Orleans

Steve Smith (NYG) at Tampa Bay

It's a surprisingly difficult choice.

Roy Williams would be the only clear choice out of that group and that's not saying much.

Yeah, WR is not my strong spot.

Personally, I'm leaning Welker/Smith or Williams/Smith if Welker is out. Tampa's secondary has been getting crushed all year, and Smith has performed very well so far. Welker is one of Brady's favorite targets. It showed he didn't play last week.

I'm only even considering Evans because Buffalo will be down to New Orleans and they'll be passing. But he's been abysmal the first two weeks, and I'm losing faith in that sleeper pick. Williams' performance on Sunday was kinda devastating to me, and I don't need that again.

I like Welker/Smith.

Fred Jackson is on a tear, it would be very hard to sit him down even with the prospects of Portis v Detroit.

As far as Slaton and Caddy, Slaton is overdue, give him a few more games before you bail out.

I'd go Jackson over Portis and Slaton over Caddy.

Bills are gonna be down... Brees is gonna throw throw throw with there running situation.

I doubt that Pierre Thomas is going to be back this week.

Steve Smith is a guy you have to consider starting this week. The Bucs pass D isn't good at all.

As for the running back situation, I'd consider starting Fred Jackson. I've never been a big Portis fan and I think the Lions might actually do decent against Portis.

I know and Mike Bell is banged up too.

What do you all think of this trade?

I get:

Santana Moss

I give up:

Kevin Walter

It is a 1 point per reception league, and I figure Santana Moss is eventually going to regain his form. He is the Redskins #1 receiver and Walter is at best the #2 in Houston.

My team looks like this:

Kurt Warner

Greg Jennings

Desean Jackson

Maurice Jones Drew

DeAngelo Williams

Kellen Winslow

Ahmad Bradshaw

Antonio Bryant

Donald Brown

Sammy Morris

Jerious Norwood

Mark Sanchez

Johnny Knox

Bro you gotta consider starting him and Manningham every week.

Manningham is now in my lineup in two leagues. I got him off the waivers in both leagues.

Its close give me the guy with Schaub throwing to him and not Campbell. Would you actually start Moss over Jackson and Jennings though?
