September 25, 200917 yr Believe it or not, I think I'd go with Portis here. I really don't like the matchup that Gore has against Minnesota. They're very, very stout against the run. Okay I hope Gore doesn't go off again this week or I'm going to quit Fantasy Football. Jones Drew I think will have a big day. Portis should have a good day I think. :scared:
September 25, 200917 yr Personally, I wouldn't take it. When Kevin Walter returns, I think he'll see better numbers. You'd be mortgaging that for one big week. The Redskins passing attack consists of Chris Cooley right now, and no one else. :thumb: I like Walter better. The Redskins, or Campbell, or both are afraid to throw down the field. Their offense isn't good and neither is Jason Campbell. Walter may not be the first option in Houston, but if Schaub stays healthy, I think he'll be good for some solid numbers and a few big weeks here and there. And, let's face it, with Santana Moss, you get nothing for a month and then a monster game...if you're confident that you can guess when he'll blow up, then go for it. Otherwise, I wouldn't take it. But, to be fair, this trade ain't gonna make or break your season.
September 25, 200917 yr Need some advice: Get offered: D McNabb Tim Hightower Giving up: Fred Jackson My team right now: QB Schaub WR B. Marshall WR Wes Welker WR M. Manningham RB S. Jackson RB B. Jacobs TE. Z. Miller Bench: WR E. Royal WR R. Meachem TE. T. Scheffler QB. M. Bulger RB. F. Jackson RB M. Bell This is a 16 team league..I mean if I do the trade a get a solid Starting QB/Back up QB in McNabb. Then I would use Hightower for bye weeks for Jackson/Jacobs. What say you? I'd take that trade. I think Jackson's value will drop when Lynch returns. And, I think Hightower will keep his goal line duties regardless. JMO
September 25, 200917 yr I'd take that trade. I think Jackson's value will drop when Lynch returns. And, I think Hightower will keep his goal line duties regardless. JMO Okay thanks, Plus I pick up D. McNabb as a starter/backup to Matt Schaub. My backup at the moment was Bulger.
September 25, 200917 yr Okay thanks, Plus I pick up D. McNabb as a starter/backup to Matt Schaub. My backup at the moment was Bulger. Yeah, that was a big reason I'd take it. Both McNabb and Schaub or injury risks and you don't want to rely on Bulger.
September 25, 200917 yr Yeah, that was a big reason I'd take it. Both McNabb and Schaub or injury risks and you don't want to rely on Bulger. Yeah what you think about my Money League team I posted above? Who would you start? Thanks.
September 25, 200917 yr In a 1/2 PPR league pick one of the following: Ted Ginn Jr. @ SD Mike Sims-Walker @ HOU Bobby Wade @ PHI Thanks.
September 26, 200917 yr Need help: Start 2 RB's and 1 RB/WR Player: R. Williams L. White L. Johnson TJ I was thinking R. Williams, and Larry Johnson and starting TJ at the RB/WR Spot. This is a 14 team league, my WR are stacked and my QB's are good. But my RB's are horrible.
September 28, 200917 yr I just traded Greg Jennings and Darren Sproles for Andre Johnson. Good trade considering I still have AP, Pierre Thomas, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Felix Jones?
September 28, 200917 yr I just traded Greg Jennings and Darren Sproles for Andre Johnson. Good trade considering I still have AP, Pierre Thomas, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Felix Jones? I think you killed in that trade...though if LDT's injuries linger all season it could reverse.
September 28, 200917 yr I just traded Greg Jennings and Darren Sproles for Andre Johnson. Good trade considering I still have AP, Pierre Thomas, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Felix Jones? I don't know what the other guy had, but that looks like it could be a pretty good trade for both sides. You didn't need Sproles, so you threw him in and upgraded at WR. If he needed another back, he got a decent option without a huge drop at WR. Jennings is capable of producing elite numbers as well. If I were in your shoes, I'd have made that trade as well.
