Good win, but it is unfortunate that Carson isn't an elite QB anymore.

This was the first week in many moons that I didn't pick Cincy in our leagues pick'em, and I might make it a trend. If I would have know that picking against them netted a V, I would have started doing this 10 years ago. NFL history may have changed.

This game tells me the Bengals have some serious heart and took last weeks loss and made a positive out of it. I hope that the Denver win doesn't come back to hurt, the AFC North could be a vey entertaining division.

I will pick the Steelers also...I proberly would anyways...:irked::thumb:

The Denver loss hurt but to bounce back to get the win today means alot...Espeasically on the road...

They HAVE to correct the problems with the o-line if they want to do anything this year. Way too many penalties on the line today.

Good win, but it is unfortunate that Carson isn't an elite QB anymore.

Can you elaborate? I'm not sure where I side on this yet, I thought he played well today, and showed signs of coming around. The lack of preseason couldn't have helped.

I thought the Bengals did good on both sides on the punting game as well!

You do realize elite QB's still throw interceptions. Manning, Brady, Brees, Favre, etc. all do it. I mean the first interception today its hard to tell whos fault that is, cause it was obviously miscommunication between him and Chad and thought Chad was going to cut it in. Now the second interception was just flat out awful I admit that. However I think that is a sign of a really QB if you can have mistakes and not let it get you down and still lead your team. He had a pretty good game actually except for two passes, and that happens to even some of the best QB's. I think he honestly shown that he is getting close to the way he use to be.

Great win today by the Bengals! Yeah they made it interesting in the end, however a win is all that matters. They beat a pretty darn good team today, and did it on the road. I mean most people would have thought the Bengals would be 1 and 1 right now, but just that it would have been the other way around. So the Bengals right now are in good shape. As I said before the Bengals need to be at least 2 and 2 after these first four games, and I think the Bengals then would have a great shot at making the playoffs this year.

Also how about Crosby he had a heck of a game for the Bengals too! I mean his punt returns today were huge!!!

I know I have been hard on the "Brat" however he did call a very good game today. So I will give him props for that. The play of the game IMO was the 3rd and 27 we converted when Coats fumbled. The ball actually bounced the right way for once for the Bengals.

Also are people going to finally come around and admit that maybe the Bengals actually do have one of the better defenses in the NFL now. They basically held one of the top offenses in the NFL to one offensive touchdown drive.

Just a great win today! WHO DEY!

I was wondering how long it would be before someone said PLAYOFFs!! Good win.

When people get on Bratkowski they are really getting on Marvin. Marvin made it clear towards the end of last season that the Bengals were going to become a running team if they wanted to contend with PGH and Baltimore. We saw that effort start last week and we saw it today.

My concern with CP is arm strength. Who knows on the INTs whose fault it really is.

Isn't the NFL record for sacks in one game by one player 6?

Carson said on the second pick he never saw the guy. Said he thought the flat was wide open. Maybe he's not getting worse maybe he just needs a pair of those Chris Sabo specs and he would see that stuff.

Well, I think that's better than if he said that he saw him and threw it anyway:lol:

Both are on Carson. He said the first one he was trying to throw a back shoulder fade but thinks that he probably should have thrown the ball downfield instead. Second one he thought the flat was open and never saw Woodson.
