September 15, 200917 yr I just got home from Knoxville and boy are the airwaves full today. Sports talk radioshow the sports animal had a poll and Lame Kiffin was rated 4th on the "college coaches on the hot seat"...LOL. That is a KNOXVILLE station. The most unrealistic fanbase I've EVER seen.

At least UT has some national titles in their past to hang their hat on, Arkansas doesn't even have any fake national titles.

That is one of two opposing SEC places I haven't seen a game. I know one big fan, but she is also a Red Sox and Pats fan :confused: so I don't really listen when she speaks.

Actually I thought Arkansas was named the National Champs in 1964 after a big upset win over Texas. May have been the Macarthur Trophy. In 1964, the Razorbacks were the only team to go through the regular season and a bowl game undefeated, and they were awarded the Football Writers Association of America National Championship as per http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkansas_Razorbacks They were the only team to finish untied and unbeaten after the bowls that season. :thumb: I know it's not much but hey. :idunno:
September 16, 200917 yr I think Cowherd has the best show on radio...sports or not. I don't agree with everything he says, but I could listen to him for hours on end. Very inteligent and witty show. Some of what he says is lost on many. He's actually my favorite guy on ESPN. I prefer his show over the rest.

But their fans were ludicrous in what they were expecting when we were there. It's definitely not Bama where they make up titles.
