September 14, 200917 yr In regards to UK vs. UT.....Anyone else think that whatever year Rich does decide is his last will be the year the streak ends, especially if it's at Commonwealth? I see a lot of similarities (albeit of very different degrees), to how last year the cards were stacked against the Cats in Fat Phil's last game. Brooks has pretty much resurrected the UK program, and wouldn't that just be a fitting end to his career here, to finally snap the streak.

September 14, 200917 yr Funny thing about this game... It was Colin Cowherd's lock. He was going on this big rant Friday about betting, and how Vegas oddsmakers didn't give home field advantage enough weight...I don't remember the spread, but he went on for 5 minutes or more about how Tennessee was a lock and that was the game he was most confident in. You never know in college football.

I want Rich to return next year, but after this many years if that's what it takes I need this to be his last year!
September 14, 200917 yr I despised their fan base for years. I've lived in TN for about 6 years and I've watched them and listened to them be the most unrealistic and unknowledgeable fans i've ever been around. Phil Fulmer, I liked and respected. I thought toward the end, he had gotten away from his principles and played some people that he shouldn't have (arrests and bad grades), but Kiffin is just a jerk. Call in shows this morning over here are going just as I expected. It's great. They are bashing Crompton of course and the last guy just stated "Hardesty is probably the best back in the nation and Kiffin is too stupid to give him the ball". :sssh: That is probably the same guy that called a couple of years ago and said Chris Lofton was a sure fire NBA can't miss. Oh well, keep it up Kiffin. Now you know how I feel living in Ky listening to the UK fans.

September 14, 200917 yr WOW! Crompton was horrible! But I hope he hangs on to his job til they play UK! If you want to blame anyone for the loss you have to blame Crompton. Some of his throws he probably didn't know where they were going. One thing is for sure it doesn't matter who starts for UT vs UK they always find a way to win. I don't know what was worse this weekend. Watching UT play or watching the Bengals.
September 14, 200917 yr I thought this was highly amusing. http://knoxville.craigslist.org/tix/1371830394.html
September 14, 200917 yr Colin gets on my nerves and he is very annoying. I like him. I just thought it was funny how UCLA not only covered the spread, but won the game, when Colin guaranteed a Tennessee blowout.
September 14, 200917 yr I like him. I just thought it was funny how UCLA not only covered the spread, but won the game, when Colin guaranteed a Tennessee blowout. Yeah he predicted a 34-13 win for the Vols. I said the same thing until John started throwing all those INTS.
September 14, 200917 yr ESPN is reporting UT broke Prince's jaw on the safety. He sure was bleeding a lot. It didn't look like that vicious of a tackle to me. Of course I might have been distracted by the moron commentators who kept saying it wasn't a safety when the replay clearly showed the ball not getting all the way out of the endzone. Thankfully the officials agreed with me after the review and said the replay confirmed the call. EDIT: I just read he wasn't wearing his mouth guard on the play. That makes more sense, at least regarding the bleeding.
September 14, 200917 yr I think Cowherd has the best show on radio...sports or not. I don't agree with everything he says, but I could listen to him for hours on end. Very inteligent and witty show. Some of what he says is lost on many.

I would blame the head coach for sticking with him....and then blaming the running game for the loss. But that's just me.
