Good win for Ryle.

Can someone who was there give a recap?

Nice win for Ryle.

It would surprise me if New Cath had 100 yds rushing tonight.

No surprise including the margin. I'm going to guess that Ryle simply went with the power game and rammed it down NC's throat.

3 touchdowns for Ryle via the pass tonight.

Hemple threw 3 TD passes - Fugate, Mullins and Nichols. Elliot ran over a lot of guys. Defense probably held NCC to 100 yds or less. Ryle took foot off the accelerator in middle of 3rd and played reserves.

Not only was NCC lacking in depth, looked like desire was also depleted. When you have no room for errors you definitely cant afford a play off here and there.

Everything that has been posted so far is true. Not every player for NC gave the effort tonight expected of them. It was a huge step back for this years team and it's gut check time for this year's team. What I get tired of hearing is how good Ryle is every year, but what have they ever really won?

One thing that sticks out in my mind from tonights game is that Ryle was not penalized very much. That's great! Congratulations. One other thing is that they need to work on the snaps from center if they are to continue in the shotgun formation. Too many were snapped to the QBs feet.

I'm not sure what any large school team has done except T and X so I am not sure what you are saying. Ryle is a solid team and will win a lot of games this year. NC was very poor tonight IMO and got totally manhandled.

Ryle's offensive line - Funk, Settle, Delaney, Langsdale, Schild, Walsh, Nichols - is playing very well, giving Hempel time to throw and opening some nice lanes for the RB's. They deserve a ton of credit. Hempel had 4 TD's passes tonight, BTW. Very balanced attack by the Raiders. Great play calling. Defense and special teams were outstanding. Ryle's kicker Pederson was unreal - I believe he put 6 of 8 kickoffs in the end zone.

NCC is unbelievably one-dimensional on offense. Kelly left, QB keeper right, Kelly middle - over and over and over. The have no passing game whatsoever and it certainly helps when the defense knows a run is coming. I'm unclear why when down 5 or 6 TD's, you wouldn't at least try to work on your passing game a little. So maybe you throw a pick six - who cares, the game is already over. But just maybe you get a couple of plays to work and build a little confidence in the passing game and in the process help your running game next time out. This was definitely not the type of NCC offense I'm used to seeing.

Well said. Ryle looked like a different team tonight thanks to varied play calling from the very beginning. Nice to see and bodes well for a solid season.
