Hats off to both teams. Both teams faught hard. I hate to see either team lose this one. Congrats to Hills on the win.

 

As for FHS missed out on oppurtunities in the 1st quarter. Missed out on one in the 4th that could have finished Hills off.

 

Keep your heads up. This thing is coming together. FHS lost another kid tonight. Injuries are killing this team.

A bit suprised by how close this was, but anything can happen in cross-town rivals. FHS has another emotional week as they host another cross-town rival Franklin County.

What is the deal at FHS with injuries are the kids just unlucky?

Was a very good high school football game between rivals. Both teams played very hard and defenses limited offenses for both teams. I think only 3 first downs in the entire first half (2 for Frankfort and 1 for Hills). Dylan Curry showed great leadership and heart (along with other seniors) on last drive. One of biggest plays of game was when Curry hit by 3 Frankfort defenders in endzone, but strong enough to get ball downfield and avoid the safety. Great win for the Western Hills program.

Really poor on Frankfort's part to run out before the game across Western Hills "W" and try and meet Hills at the 50yd line, but didn't see Frankfort's staff trying to stop them, goes to show the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
