Simon Kenton 56 Schroder, OH 21

How did Simpson fair?

They scored 56. I'd imagine he had some decent stats anyway.

SK is on a good roll. I look for them to go back to state this year.

You know expectations are high when you win by 35 and aren't fully satisfied. SK will have to bring it next week if they want to beat HC. Shroder had some nice athletes, with very good speed so it should prepare them for the Devils. With that being said, I guarantee HC's offense is much better than Shroder, and the Jags had a few drives where it was a bit too easy. I expect they will be more than ready in 7 days.

I don't have any idea of what the stats are but I would guess: Simpson 120 yds rushing 40 yds receiving. Lawrence had another nice night passing and rushing, the kid is one heck of a QB. Simon Kenton's offense has been very strong but has room to improve.

Chad hasn't lost a game in which he started at QB and played throughout the whole game since Middle school..

Hasn't lost this year, and last year took over the starting QB about half way through the year and led them to State, but got injured during the Trinity Game. He just has a winning way about him.

That is a good stat but you are not implying the outcome of the SK-Trinity game would have been different are you?

It will be a tougher road than last year for them though. Trinity and St.X are on opposite sides of the bracket with the rotating regions this time around.

And your point is?

Still say the pass defense needs some work! Looked as though the SP QB could have lit them up for 400 if that was their type of offense (albeit the 2nd string D-line was in for 90% of the 2nd half). Nothing SP did on "D" could stop SK though...the first unit moved the ball at will!

It still shows up as a loss for Chad in the stat book as if you start the game but don't finish the game and still lose, its a loss for the original starting quarterback. Honestly, it wouldn't have made much of a difference if Chad wasn't injured in the Trinity game because Trinity just handled SK in every facet of the game in the state championship last year. Trinity was just a freight train that just couldn't be stopped.

Oh, definitely not. SK Had no chance at beating Trinity, probably still wouldn't have even scored a single point. Just thought it was an interesting stat, it's pretty impressive.

Who is Schroder? I've never heard of their program.
