I may give Conner the edge since it is at Conner. This should be a very high scoring game and maybe the team with the ball last wins. Dixie won last year at Dixie I think. I flipped a coin and voted for Dixie.

This will be a score fest, I don't think either team will have problems offensively. Very hard to pick the winner, Dixie has faced better opponents but West is a very special QB for the Cougs. Dixie has played a tougher schedule but I'm not one to doubt Conner after seeing their never say die attitude last season vs SK. I think Dixie will win the game but it will be very close.

I'm amazed that Oldham County is so easily dismissed on Connor's schedule. Connor was truly fortunate that Oldham was in such a generous mood that night and committed six turnovers, many unforced... If Oldham isn't much of anyone, then Conner is in trouble against Dixie, because Oldham outplayed them on both sides of the ball.

 

I don't know if Conner will win over Dixie or not, but their victory over Oldham County was a remarkable example of persistence in the face of defeat.

 

Two of those fumbles were forced out! Conners defense played very well that night. That game was no way lopsided in time of possession or total yardage! Conners defense, although untested here lately has made much improvement on their tackling and pass coverage over last year! I would be surprised if you see Dixie score over 24 pts.:sssh:

One thing to point out - its unusual for so many predictions to be big both ways. People are taking Conner by more than 3 TDs or Dixie by 2 TDs. I guess thats because everyone thinks this is going to be a high octane game. I agree, TDs a plenty. Whos going to put it all out on the table and try to strike as much as possible and whos going to try and rake this game back a little and have a controlled but still potent offensive attack? I say Conner may be that second team but falls short to a Dixie team that will really get into stride with this game. I'm going a little closer score because of the way I think Conner will play.
