I don't think we can count that as a 2 QB system that year. I mean Tebow didn't play to much. He might go in for a play here or there, but he really didn't have to direct the offense at all. He either ran or did that jump pass. I mean Tebow probably doesn't even have to play a play that season, and Florida still wins it, because Chris Leak was the one who played basically every snap.

Tha is true and it only proves my point more. Robinson and Forcier are no where close to Tebow and Leak. That being said we might be seeing Robinson used the same way as Tebow. He could come in and put some more speed at the QB position or they could use him in the wildcat.

That is true, however I think Michigan would be using him more because they really aren't settled at QB. Florida was settled at QB, but it was more just to get Tebow some experience, and only using him certain time. My point is a true 2 QB system really has not worked, because I don't think the Florida situation really counts when Tebow only threw 33 passes that year.

Close game but ND wins it...27-24

I think the Wolverines pull the upset, 24-21.

What's the deal with Michigan's strength coach? Hasn't he been practicing these guys like 12 hours a day. Shouldn't this give them an advantage?

The Irish are back.

Notre Dame 34

Michigan 20

Nothing says "We're back" better than a victory over Nevada.....

And for that matter a win over Michigan won't say much more

Kinda like UK getting exited about beating Miami Oh. Notre Dame is back. And so are the haters.

As goes the O-Line, so goes the Irish. IF they can protect like Saturday, then Notre Dame will have a very good chance of putting up 40+. If they revert back to last season, then Michigan can win this game by 10+. Under 10 QB hurries and 100+ yards rushing, ND 35-24. 2008's line, Michigan 33-ND 17.

Instead of just saying "Notre Dame is back", how about actually stating some reasoning behind your claim, other than the obvious homerism....BTW, what does UK beating Miami have to do with this?

And for that matter a win over Michigan won't say much more

I agree.

They shut out one of the top offenses in the country from last year. No other top 25 team shut out a team. This weekend and the following weekend will tell us how good they are.

Before the game everyone says Nevada will give the Irish a good game, the pistol will cause issues and it will be a shoot out. Then Notre Dame owns them and everyone acts like Nevada is a horrible team who wont win a game in 09.

Michigan's best offensive player did not play saturday. This UM defense is really fast but small. I still dont think Boubacar and Warren can cover the tall WR's.This team has something like 89 of their 120 players as freshman or soph. So I think UM is a year away from being big time again. Although I was excited by the first half of play I have had the ND game down as a loss all along. Hope I am wrong.

And for that matter a win over Michigan won't say much more

I would say the same goes for Michigan in this case.
