Foxx might have been a bigger name and Hall of Famer but Stephens put up better numbers with the Sox.
September 3, 200917 yr Heck, if we are talking Pittsburgh, the answer still may be LaMarr Woodley and James Harrison.

Foxx might have been a bigger name and Hall of Famer but Stephens put up better numbers with the Sox. Check out Williams and Foxx in 1939.
September 3, 200917 yr Author I was going with the Steelers until I read your post. Can you edit this to say best 3-4 hitters?
September 3, 200917 yr The Reds 3-4 should be either Morgan -Bench, which were the primary 3 and 4 hitters for 1975, or Morgan-Foster, which were the primary 3 and 4 hitters for 1976.
September 3, 200917 yr When both healthy and in their Primes for the Cubs, D. Lee, and Aramis Ramirez were a very good 3-4 combo.
