IMO Dixie's offense is dependent on the quarterback . I think SK offense is fine with or without Miles. Wouldn't surprise me to see Dixie pull it out though.

I think this is the game of the week. SK wins 28-20.

If I'm SK, I sit Simpson another week, and I'm not saying that because I'm a Dixie fan. Simpson is very important to SK, and they need him 100% going into district play. This game means absolutely nothing, other than bragging rights, although it could be a factor in a tie-breaker for playoff seedings. They will need him on both sides of the ball against Conner, Ryle, and Boone. Powell looked very good against NCC Saturday, and his speed will cause enough problems for Dixie. IMO, there isn't a drop-off (offensively) from a healthy Powell and a gimpy Simpson (based on what I saw Saturday).

 

Could mean more than that. Don't discount Campbell County. If there's a 3-way tie for the last two spots in the district, it could go to the tiebreaker system and your non-district wins would become very important. As tight as 6A looks like it might be this year, that is a very real possibility.

Its not only non-district wins. You count any 4 teams that you beat other than those you're tied with.

 

NKY 6A will have people scrambling for the tie-breaker rules by year end.

The way the o-line opened up holes last week and the way Powell and Brown ran the ball, I'd be ready to go myself!!

BTW, I just caught the barb that I was not included in the list as a "good football mind." Nicely done. A little over my head though. Keep the jabs much more simple. Monosyllabic words work best.

I had a chance to see SK and they looked very good, offensive line was big and I was impressed with their overall speed. I really like their fullback #31, he can run and has good speed, he will do well with all the attetion Myles gets. For Dixie I like Wilson and Klei, I just don't think they have the offensive weapons that SK has, even without Myles, Sage Powell has game changing speed. SK 28 - Dixie 14 ,should be fun to watch.
