I agree also. I can think of 3 teams in 4A who could have beaten them last Saturday.

Boyle Co. can name the score in this one. The Rebels are a force this year.

Boyle County will not shutout Pikeville. Pikeville can move the ball and will score against Boyle County

 

It wouldn't surprise me if they did shut them out. I still can't believe Rockcastle County scored on us. I'll be very surprised if we come out as flat as we came out last Saturday to start a game for the rest of the season.

I have to respectfully disagree. We came out flat in the 1st quarter, but it was over after that. We have a lot of room for improvement, but at this point in the season I think we are better than everyone else in 4A. I know it's only week 2, but it's just my opinion. For all we know Rockcastle County may be better than we thought.

 

 

Until we get beat by one of those teams in 4A, I am going to think we are better than everyone else, though. I can admit that.

I hope the Rebels really work hard on their pass defense this week and every week. I've always said the last few years, a good passing team will give us fits. Lex Cath has a returning qb back this year and this could present a problem. GO REBELS:banana:

Me too. The pass defense needs a lot of attention. No doubt. Coach French will fix it.

Boyle Co. wins this game because of their defence,but don't overlook this team,this is a good team with skill players.I don;t think there will be a running clock like some of you are predicting.this game will be closer then you all think,but Boyle will still come away the win.GO REBELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You said the best. Our Rebels our young men and are easily distracted. I'm just hoping they don't read all of the posts about how great they are and all of this talk about them being unbeatable goes to their heads. I know we have some level-headed kids on this team, but kids will be kids. Some adults do the same thing. I know being confident is great,but over-confident can get you beat sometimes. Rebels will win this one going away. I was very impressed by this year's team and #2 is going to have a magical season. He reminds me a lot of Jeremy Brit by the way he reads his blocks and makes decisive cuts.

Pikeville threw for 231 yards in their loss to Covington Holy Cross last Saturday. They ran for 59 yards. They only scored 14 points, but it's obvious they can move the ball through the air, so I have to agree, this game could present problems for Boyle County until we can effectively stop the pass.
